An individualized training program to improve skills in navigating the community via public transportation and to increase safety and independence.
Providing training and consultation for employers and employees to foster disability-friendly, welcoming, and inclusive work environments.
This is a work-based learning program in collaboration with the Athletic Department at MSU. Certificate track students, ages 16-18, will participate in an 8-week program with 7 weeks of paid employment. During the 8 weeks, students have a morning career institute where they learn a combination of workplace readiness skills and self-advocacy skills. After the morning career institute, students participate in their work experience.
A collaboration with Michigan Rehabilitation services and RCPD. BOSS is a work-based learning opportunity that matches MSU students with disabilities to campus jobs that align with employment goals.
